Two incidents of ID theft probed
State police at Lehighton are investigating two reported incidents of identity theft.
Jeanne Marie Quinn, 130 Ruby Court, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported someone used her Social Security number at Wallace Newman Construction, 244 Hunter Lane, Charlotte, N.C., about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.
Sharon Kendig, of 170 Clear View Drive, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported someone opened an American Express credit card in her name and made fraudulent purchases.
The incident was reported on Aug. 12.
