August 20, 1996 Jarred Albert fires an 83 to help Jim Thorpe gain a 353-360 golf win over Marian at Mountain Valley. The Olympians also receive an 89 from George Monteleone and a 91 from Jared Kelowitz. The match was the first for the Colts after a 15-year absence. Marian's Chris McLaughlin shoots a 78 to earn medalist honors.
