Monroe woman facing charges

A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred about 4:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, outside the Walmart store in Mt. Pocono.

Police were called to the scene after witnesses observed a woman inhaling from a computer duster can and passeing out on the sidewalk outside the store. The woman regained consciousness and refused medical treatment.

She was identified as Jessica Franks, 22, of Tobyhanna. She was issued a citation and released, police said.
