Schuylkill man jailed for incident

A Schuylkill County man was jailed recently for an intimidation incident.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers responded to the Hess service station located along SR125 in Pine Grove Township about 7:15 a.m. on Dec. 2 to a report of a harassment/intimidation of a victim complaint.

On scene troopers learned that Barry Edward Jacoby Jr., 39, of 23 Union St., Pine Grove, confronted Benjamin Peter Fridirici, 34, of 398 Saylor St., Schuylkill Haven. Troopers said Fridirici had previously had assault charges filed against Jacoby.

Jacoby was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Pottsville in lieu of $15,000 bail on charges of intimidation of a victim.
