Illegal use of debit card is reported
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating an access device fraud case in which an Effort man is the victim.
The incident was reported to have occurred between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 1 and midnight Dec. 4.
The victim is Alex D'Antonio Jr., 320 Squirrelwood Court, Polk Township.
He told police someone gained access to his debit card un an unknown means and made two purchases via the internet. The total loss is $26.95.
