Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported on a crash investigated by troopers on Saturday, Dec. 10, in Monroe County.

Troopers said about 4:47 p.m. along SR715 in Chestnuthill Township, Eileen Knowles, 44, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2006 Subaru Forester southbound when she lost control due to ice on the road. The car front end of the Forester struck the driver's side front end of a 2001 Honda Odyssey driven by Jill A. Miller, 58, of Saylorsburg.

Miller was injured and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance. Knowles and her passengers Dale Knowles, 51, Dale Knowles, 111, Deila Knolwes, 110, and Miller's passenger, Jessica A. Carey-Lee, 20, were all not injured.

Troopers cited Knowles for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
