Monroe teen facing rape count

A Monroe County teen is facing a charge of rape and related charges.

State police at Fern Ridge said on Tuesday, Dec. 13, a 12-year-old girl reported she had consensual sexual intercourse with David Charles Tanner, 19, of Stroudsburg, at least on three occasions in November.

Tanner was interviewed and confessed to the allegations, troopers said. He was charge and is awaiting arraignement, troopers added.
