Vehicle rolls over, woman is charged

Nicole L. Bartell, 24, of Pocono Summit, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a vehicle she was driving crashed and rolled over onto its driver's side door on Dec. 17 at 3:03 a.m. on Stillwater Drive in Pocono Summit.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said she was driving a Hyundai sedan that rolled over after going out of control. When police arrived at the scene, they found the car on its driver's side and Bartell staggering around it. She was uninjured but found to be under the influence of alcohol.

The woman failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI.
