Credit defaults
The following actions were filed by a credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on a credit card/loan account:
Midland Funding, LLC, San Diego, Calif., filed against Martes Mayra, HV 3 Box 3492, Albrightsville, seeking $19,683.09.
Capital One, U.S.A., N.A., Glen Allen, Va., filed against Michele T. Searfoss, 410 Pocono Road, Albrightsville, seeking $5,571.58.
Dept. of Justice lien
The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, has filed a $55,904.08 Department of Justice lien against Sindey Chase, 41 Shortridge Road, Albrightsville.
The lien states the judgment is for "fine and/or restitution imposed pursuant to the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996."
Municipal liens
The Borough of Nesquehoning has filed two municipal lien claims against parties who own property in the borough.
One lien is against the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Company, owner of a property at 13 W. Catawissa St., in the amount of $209, plus costs, for an outstanding sanitation bill, and the other lien is against and Richard Miller Jr., owner of a property at 34 W. Catawissa St., in the amount of $288, plus costs, based upon the installation of curbing for the property.
Divorce started
Tyler Meek, 242 S. Third St., Lehighton, filed against Brittany Meek, 149 S. Sixth St., Apt. C1, Lehighton. They were married on July 17, 2010.

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans:
Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Fort Mill, S.C., filed against Kevin P. Baker, 1104 Princeton Ave., Palmerton, over a property at that address. Sought is $128,244.28, plus continuing interest, costs and fees.
Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Fort Mill, S.C., filed against Lawrence J. Nee Jr. and Patricia A. nee, 395 N. Stagecoach Road, Weatherly, over a property at that address. Sought is $68,406.17, plus continuing interest, costs and fees.
Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Fort Mill, S.C., filed against Salvatore Baldasanna, a/k/a Sal Baldasanno, and Christine Baldasanno, 22 Shadblue Lane, Jim Thorpe, over a property at 127 Carbon St., Weatherly. Sought is $65,795.92, plus continuing interest, costs and fees.
The Bank of America, N.A., successor by merger to BAC Home Loan Servicing, L.P., Simi Valley, Calif., filed against Raymond and Patricia Brown, 7102 Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, over a property at 311 Hunter Lane, Albrightsville. Sought is $75,584.99, plus continuing interest, costs and fees.

Ejectment complaint
Fannie Mae, Dallas, Tex., has filed a complaint in ejectment against Mia Brown, 316 Junco Lane, Albrightsville, over a property at that address.
The plaintiff states it took ownership of the property via a sheriff's sale, and it entitled to possession of it, asserting the defendant is occupying the premises without right and claim of title.
