New Philly woman caught shoplifting
State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Renee Gibas, 39, of New Philadelphia, is facing retail theft charges after she was caught shoplifting on Dec. 24 at 3:41 p.m. at Super Shoes in the Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville.
Police said she left the store without paying for a pair of duck boots valued at $69.99.
Police said store employees witnessed Gibas placing the boots into a bag and leaving the store before they apprehended her.
