Don't put the blame on Joe Paterno

Dear editor:

The following is my opinion on all the stories about Joe Paterno. My God, he was a fantastic coach. What his assistant coach did, those writers should blame everything on him, not Coach Paterno.

All this on telelvision, radio, and in the newspapers should stop. Put the blame on the right person.

I worked in the newspaper trade for 46 years and now days I am sick and tired of all this going on about a great coach.

If there is any truth that he was involved, then I am sorry. But until there is no evidence to prove that he was involved in anyway. Please let him alone.

I do not know if anybody agrees with me or not, but that is my honest opinion on that matter. Let Joe Paterno live his life alone.
