Monroe man facing charges

A Monroe County man is facing a charge of scattering rubbish following an incident that was reported on Jan. 28.

State police at Fern Ridge said Mark Heller, of Stroudsburg, was charged for allegedly causing waste paper to be deposited along Running Valley Road, near Neola Road, in Jackson Township. The incident occurred between 7 a.m. and 2:53 p.m., troopers said.

Troopers said Heller is facing a fine up to $300 and/or 90 days in jail, if convicted.
