A domestic incident has led to charges being filed against one person and charges pending against another.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 8:08 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, officers were called to 6 Mountain Terrace, Blakeslee, for a domestic dispute involving a gun. Upon arrival officers found Chase Warren, 46, of that address, outside the home, who was suffering visible injuries.

Warren told officers his stepdaughter, Tiffany Elston, 19, had assaulted him.

The gun reportedly used in the incident was a BB gun, which was seized as evidence by police.

Elston was taken into custody and charged with simple assault. She was processed at police headquarters and later lodged in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.

Police said charges against Warren are pending in the matter.
