DUI arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers on Feb. 3.

About 9:20 p.m. troopers stopped Amy Jo Dennis, 42, of Kunkletown, for several motor vehicle code violations along Kunkletown Road at Chestnut Drive, in Eldred Township, Monroe County. She was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, troopers said.

Troopers added that Dennis also had in her possession a small amount of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The DUI charge is pending test results, troopers added.

About 10:20 p.m. troopers stopped Debra A. Moser, 55, of Kunkletown, along Little Gap Road at Hawk Farm Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for traffic violations. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. She was taken to the barracks for a breath test with charges pending.
