Monroe man facing retail theft charge

A Monroe County man is facing a charge of retail theft.

State police at Fern Ridge said Mark Parcell, 28, of Effort, allegedly attempted to leave the Mr. Z's store in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, with $3.60 worth of merchandise without paying for it. The incident occurred about 12:19 p.m. on Feb. 3.
