Theft from vehicle probed in Tamaqua

Tamaqua police are investigating the theft of items from a motor vehicle.

Mary Brode, of 500 Pine St., Tamaqua, reported the incident at 4:30 p.m. Sunday telling officers someone had gone through her minivan, which she had left unlocked due to concerns about the locks freezing. Items removed included a number of compact disks and a cell phone charger.
