Colts, Lady Tigers get hoop wins

The Marian boys and Northwestern girls posted basketball wins while Northern Lehigh picked up a wrestling win on Thursday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Nativity-Marian

Marian escaped with a 56-52 Schuylkill League Division 3 win over Nativity.

Dom Richards scored 13 of his game-high 21 points before halftime. Chris Barletta finished strong by scoring 11 of his 17 points in the second half.

Nativity was led by Mike Fetteroff's 17 points.

In the JV game, Marian finished the regular season unbeaten (18-0) with a 51-35 win. Ryan Karnish had 15 points for the Colts.

Panther Vy.-Pine Grove

Pine Grove used a balanced scoring attack to post a 53-42 Schuylkill League Division 1 victory over Panther Valley.

Eleven players scored for the Cardinals, but it was Brady Burke who paced the hosts with a game-high 13 points.

Joe Dalessio had 10 points for the Panthers while Nate Mathfinished with nine.

Pine Grove won the JV game, 47-30.
