Rush Twp. police make theft arrests

Rush Township police report the following theft arrests.

On Feb. 12 at 6:50 p.m., Brian R. Kehl, 27, of Lansford, was charged with retail theft after stealing $26.16 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart store. Kehl was also wanted out of Schuylkill and Carbon counties. Kehl was lodged in Schuylkill prison, Pottsville.

On Feb. 14, Leanne Micklesavage, 21, of Ashland, was picked up by Ashland police on an outstanding warrant for theft, receiving stolen property and access device fraud and lodged in the county prison on charges filed in Rush. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer, Tamaqua, who set bail at $5,000.
