Tamaqua hires softball coaches
The Tamaqua Area School Board hired two girls softball coaches at its monthly meeting on Tuesday.
Terry L. Knoblauch was named head junior varsity softball coach, at a salary of $2,025. Knoblauch is a former Lady Raiders head softball coach. His daughter, Jillian Barron, is the current head softball coach at Tamaqua.
Lynn Deiter was appointed as assistant junior varsity softball coach at $1,025.
