Teen found with stolen vehicle

A teen was found operating a stolen vehicle in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said a 17-year-old male from Waldorf, Md., was stopped about 8:42 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, along Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township. At the stop troopers learned the vehicle the teen was operating was reported stolen in Maryland and was owned by Car Care, of Waldorf.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. The teen was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property. The teen was later turned over to juvenile probation officers.
