Vehicle stop leads to wanted person

A vehicle stop by members of the Pocono Mountain Regional police has led to the jailing of the driver on an outstanding warrant.

Police said about 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14, officers stopped a vehicle along SR115 at the CVS parking lot in Blakeslee for a vehicle violation.

The driver was identified as Gary Hudack, 21, of White Haven. A further check revealed that Hudack had a outstanding warrant for his arrest issued to the Luzerne County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear for a court hearing.

Hudack was taken into custody and transported to the county prison in Snydersville where he was held until Luzerne authorities picked him up.
