Carbon crash probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two-vehicle crash along SR903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 11:05 a.m.

Troopers said Margaret R. Halko, 44, of Springfield, Delaware County, was stopped in the southbound lane near Towamensing Trail, when her 2008 Honda Odyssey was struck in the rear by a 1994 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck driven by Kyle R. McHale, 20, of Stroudsburg.

A passenger with Halko, Barbara E. Krauter, 46, of Springfield, sustained a minor injury but did not required medical attention, troopers said. The two drivers and another passenger with Halko, Elizabeth Halko, 20, same address, were all not injured.
