February 28, 1964 Jim Thorpe closes the regular season on a winning note, rallying for a 69-52 victory over Pocono Mountain. Ronnie Hydro leads the way for the Olympians, coached by Tony Romano, with a game-high 26 points. The winners, who fell behind 10-2 in the contest, also receive 17 points from Jack Kmetz. Thorpe also gets seven points from both Ronnie Miller and Billy Rhodes.
