Back taxes
Tamaqua Area School District filed a petition to enter a lien on the property of Norman and Alice Gryczyusky, 54 Angel Drive, West Penn Township, alleging $1,134.36 is owed in back real estate taxes to the school district.
Divorces granted
Deborah H. Pascavage was granted a divorce from Bruce D. Pascavage, both of Mahanoy City. They were married July 3, 1999.
Angela Snyder, Valley View, Hegins Township, was granted a divorce from Mitchell Snyder, Pitman, Eldred Township. They were married June 21, 1999.
Janel Marie Aungst was granted a divorce from Jeremy Aungst, both of Pine Grove. They were married Aug. 16, 2003.
Guilty plea
Tammy Josephine McShaw, 42, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and driving while her license was suspended-DUI related, was sentenced to serve 92 days in the county prison. However, since she spent 69 days in the prison plus 24 days in a rehab center, was released on parole for six months, fined $1,000, pay $300 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, and a $50 monthly supervision fee. On a charge of driving while her license was suspended was fined $1,000. McShaw was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Brian Reno.
Marilyn Shenosky, 59, of South McAdoo, Kline Township, was sentenced by President Judge William E. Baldwin on a charge of possession of a controlle substance to serve 12 months on probation and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education Fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and a $50 monthly supervision fee. She was cited by Kline Township police.
James Lee, 21, Schuylkill Haven, on acharge of indecent assault was sentenced by Judge Domalakes to serve five years on probation and must register his address under Megan's Law for 10 years, shall have no contact with the victim, pay $50 Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and a $50 monthly supervision fee. Lee was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Warren Firing.
Joseph Michael Tokanitz, 62, Minersville, pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault and was placed on probation for 36 months by Judge Domalakes and must register his address under Megan's Law for 10 years, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and a $50 monthly supervision fee.
