Drunk in Slatington

A Slatington resident was cited for public drunkenness following an incident that occurred about 2:34 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

Borough police said a male was observed staggering in the area of Long Valley and Center Avenue. He was stopped and identified as Gutchiston Sparrow IV, 24, of 750 Main St., Apt. 2. He was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody and transported to the police station and issued a citation and released.
