Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 9:50 p.m. on Dec. 28 along SR534 in Polk Township.

State police at Lehighton said Ronald Simms, of Kunkletown, was stopped for a moving traffic violation and was found to be under the influence. He will be charged, troopers said.
