Theft incidents at ski resort probed

State police at Lehighton reported on several theft incidents at the Blue Mountain Ski resort in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said several vehicles were entered while parked in lots at the ski resort and various items were removed. No time frame was listed on the police report.

A 33-year-old resident who resides along Covered Bridge Road in Lower Towamensing Township reported his home was entered and removed were various items including a television set and jewelry. The incident occurred sometime between 2 and 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3.

Judy Horn, 68, of 1107 Smith Road, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported her mailbox was damaged by unknown persons sometime around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 28.

Andrew William Krock, 31, of 1902 Robinhood Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, reported someone damaged the glass on his lamp post outside his home. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. on Dec. 30.
