Matthew Bloom and Melissa Bogart
The engagement of Melissa Bogart, daughter of Timothy and Annette Bogart, Lehighton, to Matthew Bloom, son of Harvey and June Bloom of Randolph, Mass., has been announced by the couple's parents.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
She graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with an associate degree in paralegal studies and works as an office manager at Cheng Law Offices, P.C., Palmerton.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Randolph High School in Randolph. He is a computer technician in the Pocono Mountain School District, and has also been enlisted in the Army Reserve since 1997.
A wedding is being planned for this summer.
