Mechanic's lien filed

Hayman Water System, LLC, 1262 Municipal Road, Lehighton, has filed a mechanic's lien claim against Flagstaff Management Corporation, 204 Center St., Jim Thorpe, and Awesome View Properties, Inc., 140 E. Center St., claiming a debt of $1,663.32 is due it for improvements the contractor made to property at 600 Flagstaff Road, Jim Thorpe.

The plaintiff says under a contract with Flagstaff Management, the claimaint agreed to furnish labor and materials required for alterations and repairs to a lightning-damaged water well pump, control box and burned wiring. The firm says it furnished and installed a new pump motor, control box, splice kit and water tank at the property. Hayman says it completed the work on Aug. 23, 2010, and filed the lien against those improvements for payment of the debt due.
