Maryland man cited in Monroe
A Maryland man was arrested for an incident in Monroe County.
State police at Fern Ridge said Damien Lee Rounds, 35, of Berlin, arrived at the apartment of Nicole Paulette Rounds, 33, at Fish Plaza, off of SR209, in Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, about 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2. He was allowed in the apartment to take personal belongings.
After gathering the belongings, Rounds refused to leave the apartment. When troopers arrived he continued to refuse to leave. He was taken into custody after a struggle.
He was arraigned before a district judge on charges of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
He was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
