Schuylkill man facing charges

A Schuylkill County man is facing charges after he entered a home in an intoxicated condition and fell asleep, later being found by the homeowner. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred on Sunday, Jan. 9, at the residence of Jeffrey J. Weaver, 408 E. Wiconisco Ave., Tower City.

Troopers said Ryan A. Malick, 20, of Tower City, entered the home about 4:30 a.m. through an unlocked door. Malick was under the impression that he was at the residence of a friend. Malick then removed his shoes and fell asleep on the living room sofa. About 8 a.m. Weaver returned home and found Malick in the residence.

Troopers said Malick will be charged with defiant trespass and underage drinking.
