Driver facing DUI after accident

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10, along Peach Mountain Road, at New Wade Road, in Norwegian Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Michael Allen Kramer Jr., 18, of Cressona, crashed his vehicle into a pole along the road. He was found to be under the influence of marijuana and placed under arrest. The charge is pending test results, troopers said.
