Wreckers, Bombers, Bulldogs get girls wins
Weatherly, Palmerton and Northern Lehigh all scored wins in girls basketball action on Monday night.
Palmerton also got a wrestling victory.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Weatherly-Williams Vy.
The Lady Wreckers used balanced scoring with three girls in double figures to hand Williams Valley a 50-36 loss.
Alicia Panzarella, Sara Heister and Tracy Galada scored 20, 12, 11 points respectively for the Wreckers (2-7, 1-4). Randi-Lynn Kolva ked tge Vikings with 17 points and Kaila Dietrich added 13.
Weatherly also picked up a 44-38 win in the JV game as Erin Dougherty finished with 13 points and Alexis Boyarsky 12.

The Battlin' Miners scored the first nine points of the game and never trailed as they handed the Fillies a 43-36 Schuylkill League loss.
Minersville's tough defense caused the Fillies (9-2, 3-2) to turn the ball over 22 times.
Emily Oakill finished with 11 points for the Miners (8-2, 5-0), while freshman phenom Reighley Melochick was held to nine points.
Kaycee Gutsie was the lone Fillie in double figures with 10.

The Panthers (9-2) jumped out to a 45-22 halftime lead and coasted to a 82-31 Mountain Valley Conference win over the Bears (6-4).
Tynell Fortune had seven of his game-high 221 points in the second quarter when the Panthers scored 28 points.
Tyrel Dixon backed up Fortune with 12 points. Mike Sharpe was the lone Pleasant Valley player to hit doubles with 10 points.
The Bears managed to win the JV game by a 64-51 score.
