Young at Heart Seniors
Young at Heart Seniors will meet in the Polk Township Fire Company meeting room on Tuesday, Jan. 18. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. They will have a speaker from the Monroe County Transit Authority (Pony).
Dessert and hot drinks will be provided after the meeting. Members are urged to bring a can or package of nonperishable food for the food bank. Visitors and new members are always welcome. For more information, call Camille DeSando at (570) 972-4424.
Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church
There will be a roller skating party at La Rose's Skating Rink in Lehighton on Sunday, Jan. 16 from 4-6 p.m. Everyone is invited to join the fun. Sign up list is outside the church office.
PV Elementary School PTO
The monthly PVE PTO meeting will be held on Jan. 13 at 4 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All are welcome to attend.
PV Intermediate PTO news
The PVI PTO meeting will be on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 4:15 p.m. in the school library.
The PVI PTO will have a bingo night on Friday, Jan 14 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Any PVI student and their families are invited to attend.
