Drug paraphernalia arrest in Rush Twp.

Rush Township police were dispatched to a reckless driving complaint and later a motor vehicle accident in Ryan Township on SR54 on Jan. 12 at 12:20 p.m.

Due to the weather conditions, the driver, Jonathon Dombrowski, 22, Mahanoy City, was sitting in the Rush Township police car while the officer awaited the arrival of the state police from the Frackville barracks to handle the vehicle accident. Police saw Dombrowski put a needle and a spoon in the car while he was sitting there.

Dombrowski is facing drug paraphernalia charges filed by Rush police.
