Theft incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the following theft incidents being probed by troopers.

Christine Detwiler, 62, of East Trail, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported a filled propane tank was removed from her property. The incident was reported at 1 a.m. on Jan. 10.

James Anthony Cogan, of 327 Chestnut Ridge Rd., in Kunkletown, Eldred Township, Monroe County, reported someone entered his vehicle while parked in front of his residence and removed a pair of Ray-Ban prescription sunglasses. The incident occurred sometime between 1 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 14.

A 16-year-old male from Allentown reported his Burton TWC edition 156-inch snowboard with Burton Freestyle bindings was stolen from a rack outside the main lodge of the Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township. The theft occurred sometime around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 12.
