Divorces granted
Andrew Lopata was granted a divorce from Frances R. Lopata, both of 33 Ash Lane, Andreas, West Penn Township. They were married June 28, 1996.
Emily M. Folk, also known as Emily M. Harrity, 628 N. Warren St., Orwigsburg, was granted a divorce from William J. Folk III, 1 E. Schmaltzdahl Road, New Ringgold. They were married Oct. 4, 2008.
Melissa Vesay, Minersville, was granted a divorce from Robert J. Vesay, Tower City. They were married Nov. 26, 1999.
Charlene Ann Kechula, Shenandoah, was granted a divorce from George James Kechula, Frackville. They were married Aug. 23, 1997.
Edward P. Raczka was granted a divorce fromKimberly A. Raczka, bothof Pottsville. They were married Oct. 2, 1999.
Teddi M. Sampson was granted a divorce fromJeffrey S. Sampson, both of Pine Grove. They were married April 25, 1992.
Revoke probation
Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin revoked the probation of two defendants.
Steven Edward Casey, 23, Auburn, was had his probation revoked and 63 three days of liberty taken away and he was re-sentenced to serve six to 12 months in the county prison. Casey had pleaded guilty to a harassment charge and was put on probation 12 months.
Emilio S. Jack, 20, Pottsville, was re-sentenced on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia to serve four to 12 months in the county prison. He had pleaded gullty to the charges and had been placed on probation.
Bail hearings
Judge John E. Domalakes held hearings on petitions seeking bail modifications.
Aaron Conahan, 249 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, was granted a motion for modification of bail with the stipulation he must reside at the Tamaqua residence and must not relocate without prior court approval. Conahan was cited by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, and is awaiting trial on a charge of recklessly endangering another person.
William Sanchez III, 24, of Mahanoy City, had his motion to reduce bail from $20,000 percentage cash was denied, however, the motion to release him into an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment probram was granted. Sanchez was cited by Mahanoy City Patrolman Charles Kovalewski, for burglary.
Jason Michael Frew, Tremont, was found by the court to have violated the conditions of his bail and it was revoked and he was remanded to the county prison to await trail on 16 charges brought by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force including possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.
Robert Paul Rothermel, 22, Pottsville, had his bail modified from $10,000 percentage cash to $10,000 unsecured and he is permitted to reside at 420 E. Market St., Apt. 1, Pottsville, and must not relocate without court approval. He was cited by Pottsville Patrolman John Mohl, with simple assault on his mother.
