Two-vehicle crash probed Saturday

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, along Middlecreek Road in Tremont Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Kerry T. Kintzel, 17, of Tremont, was driving a 2004 Dodge Dakota pickup truck southbound and failed to negotiate a right curve and lost control on the snow-covered road. The truck entered the northbound lane and struck a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck operated by Michael R. Galavage, 35, of Tremont. No one was injured. Troopers said Kintzel was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
