Carbon crash

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 10:37 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, along North Fireline Road, in Parryville, Carbon County.

Troopers said Kelly A. Alexander, 42, of Palmerton, was driving a 2010 Hyundai Elantra eastbound when she lost control after failing to negotiate a slight left curve in the road. The vehicle slid off the south edge and into a culvert, then rolled onto its side, coming to rest on its side in the culvert.

Alexander was not injured. Troopers cited her for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
