Tamaqua Blue in South finals

Tamaqua Blue reached the finals of the District 18 9-10 South Division round by defeating Jim Thorpe.

Tamaqua now awaits the winner of Saturday's Jim Thorpe and Towamensing White matchup.

Tamaqua Blue beat Jim Thorpe, 9-3.

Brady Moyer had two singles, a double, four RBIs and two runs scored for Tamaqua. Nicholas Breiner added a pair of singles. Darian Stianche scored twice for Tamaqua.

Jim Thorpe's Joey Kaminicki had a single and two RBIs. Zach Searfoss had a double, while Noah Snisk and TJ Garritano each singled.

Tamaqua pounded out 13 hits in an 11-2 win over Pottsville.

Tamaqua's Jordan Heisler went 4 for 4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Ryan Palsgrove was 2 for 2 with a pair of RBIs and two runs scored.

Mike Streisel allowed four hits over five innings for the win.

Bushkill Township-Franklin Township

Bushkill shut out Franklin, 14-0.

Bushkill's Mike Mulheam got the win and teammate Zac Huber went 1 for 2 with four RBIs.

Panther Valley-

East Stroudsburg

The Panther Valley Black Diamonds beat the East Stroudsburg Mustangs, 7-4.

Panther Valley's Jeff Corby went 1 for 4 with three RBIs. David Vidzicki pitched the win.

East Stroudburg-

Panther Valley

The Black Diamonds beat the Mustangs, 9-3, to sweep Sunday's doubleheader.

Greg Pecha and Josh Faenza drove in two runs each for Panther Valley.

The Diamondback's Zach Stanko picked up the win.
