Valuable electrical cable stolen

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a large quantity of valuable electrical cables from a site in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a trailer owned by Harlan Electrical Construction Company, of Tremont, was entered while parked at 297 SR209, in Tremont Township. Entry was gained by breaking the lock.

Removed was 35 to 50-foot electrical ground cables valued at $35,000. The cables were located on the left and right shelves of the trailer.

The incident occurred sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
