Graduates from PSU

Aaron Bonner, son of Joe and Sandy Bonner of Tamaqua, graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor of arts degree from the Penn StateCollege of Communications. Bonner majored in communications/ advertising, with minors in International Studies and Business and Liberal Arts. Commencement exercises were held May 14 with CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer as the commencement speaker. He was named to the Dean's List for his final semester.

While at Penn State's University Park Campus, Bonner served as webmaster for the Penn State Ad Club; represented PSU at the Public Relations Student Society of America 2010 National Conference in Washington, D.C; served as communications committee chair for the PSu chapter of PRSSA; and served as creative representative and account executive for the Daily Collegian.

A 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Area, Bonner spent the Summer of 2010 studying abroad at Pforzheim University and Phillips Universitat in Germany. He is presently employed by Media Five Entertainment in Bethlehem.
