Nesquehoning police report

Nesquehoning police reported during the past holiday weekend officers conducted 33 vehicle stops for such infractions as speeding, equipment violations, red light violations and passing in no passing zones.

Police said multiple warnings were handed out for seat belt violations.

Police issued citations for speeding, 40 miles-per-hour in a 25 zone at Oak and Catawissa streets; an expired inspection sticker at the same location; and a red light violation at Mermon and Catawissa streets.
