Announcement has been made of the engagement of Brianna Cooney of Tamaqua, to Adam Boyce, of Jefferson Township, N.J.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas Cooney of Tamaqua and Patricia Kaschak of Sheppton.
She is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design. She currently works as a freelance graphic designer.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Peggy Boyce of Barnegat, N.J.
He is a 1997 graduate of Jefferson Township High School, New Jersey, and a 2001 graduate of Lock Haven University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business management. He later went on to earn an MBA at ITT Technical Institute in 2005. He is currently employed at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
The couple will be wed Sept. 4, 2011 at The Links at Gettysburg golf course in Gettysburg.
