Allentown man has multiple charges

Steven Rex, 46, of Allentown, had multiple charges filed against him by Slatington police after a motor vehicle accident at 12:27 a.m. July 8 at Center Avenue and Middle Alley in the borough.

Police did not release the details of the accident but said Rex has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, accidents involving injury, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, failure to drive at a safe speed, failure to provide immediate notice of an accident, careless driving, driver required to be licensed and public drunkenness.
