Break-in, theft and mischief incidents

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary, theft and acts of criminal mischief.

The break-in occurred at a residence along Terrace Drive, in Chestnuthilll Township, Monroe County. The home was entered sometime between July 5-10. Removed was computers, televisions, musical keyboard and a Play Station 3. The homeowner was not identified by troopers.

Nicholas Tanzillo, of 6 Meadow Drive, Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone used his credit card without his peermission and ran up charges of $505.64 on gift cards at a Walmart store in Texas. The incident was reported at noon on July 6.

Troopers are investigating acts of criminal mischief that occurred at several residents along Corine Court in Cnestnuthill Township. The acts include damage to above-ground pools and the smashing of windows on a parked vehicle.
