Luzerne teen charged in Monroe

A Luzerne County teen was charged for an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Sunday, July 10, about 9:59 p.m. officers on patrol along SR611 in Mt. Pocono observed illegal fireworks in the area of Kinney Avenue. A further investigation led officers to 209 Pocono Blvd., where they encountered Cory Williams, 18, of Wilkes-Barre.

Williams was found to be in possession of and under the influence of alcohol. He was cited for underage drinking.
