A home for judging stand

Dear Editor:

The true home for the fairgrounds judging stand would be at the Lehighton High School grounds (possibly, the original location).

If not there, then maybe along the Mahoning Street entrance and with it, pictures and history for all to see. The richness of Carbon County must be preserved. Its past in the making of our nation is not only notable but essential. Local history, the Constitution and the Spirit of Freedom should be taught in all area schools.
