Tamaqua Blue closing in on PV 11-12 tourney title

Teague Schmidt pitched a complete for Tamaqua giving the Blue a 7-5 win over Franklin Township in the Panther Valley Little League 11-12 tournament.to move them to 5-0.

Ethan Kuczynski and Tanner Hamm contributed two hits each while Mitch Miller had an RBI double and an RBI triple. Daylon Barron, Brady Akins, Billy Derr and Eddie Titus each contributed one hit for Tamaqua.

For Franklin Township, Buchinsky had a big day with two home runs, a two-run shot in the fourth and another two-run homer in the sixth. Andrews had two hits as well.

Tamaqua Blue will face Towamensing on Friday night beginning at 6:00PM at Towamensing. A win there will solidify the PV Tournament Championship for Tamaqua Blue.
