R.R. Frey after another crown
The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) summer basketball league championship game is set, as two-time defending champion R.R. Frey Services will try for a three-peat when they tangle with B & R Gym on Friday night (7 p.m.) at the North and Middle Ward Playground in Tamaqua.
In the event of rain, the game will be moved to Monday night at 7 p.m.
R.R. Frey Services advanced to the championship game by defeating Guerilla Squad, while fourth-seeded B & R Gym posted a monumental upset over top-seed and previously undefeated Ryan's Oil & Heating.

SEMIFINAL RESULTS
Guerilla Squad-
R.R. Frey Services
R.R. Frey Services cruised into its third consecutive ESRC summer basketball championship game with a 56-45 victory over Guerilla Squad.
Dan Miller brought his "A game", as he led R.R. Frey with a game-high 21 points while pulling down five rebounds.
For Guerilla Squad, Dave Wilson had 17 points in the loss.
Ryan's Oil & Heating-B & R Gym
B & R Gym entered the game as the underdog, but left as the spoiler as they upset top-seeded and previously undefeated Ryan's Oil & Heating 45-40.
The 40 points was a season-low for Ryan's, as they scored just 13 points in the second half.
Matt Murphy scored nine points on three three-pointers to lead B & R Gym.
Joe Schaeffer scored 11 points in the Ryan's loss.
